## Understanding your WeChat Pay test

### What does a WeChat payment test actually tell me?

It lets you try the scan, recipient review and confirmation steps with a real receiving code. If the transaction completes, that particular payment worked. Merchant purchases, personal transfers and other recipients can have different eligibility rules.

### Can I scan the code on the phone I am using?

Save the receiving image first. In WeChat, open +, choose Scan and use the album or photo option if your version offers it. Select the saved image, then inspect the payment screen. A second device is another way to display the code.

### Why might my linked foreign card be unavailable?

A card appearing in your wallet does not mean it can fund every transaction. The recipient type and the payment route matter. Read the reason WeChat shows; a restriction on this donation is not a verdict on payments at shops.

### Will the website confirm my payment?

No. We do not receive a transaction confirmation from WeChat. Use the status and transaction history in your app. If a debit is pending, resolve it with the wallet or issuer before making another attempt.
